Reviewing DRUPA 2024

2 weeks of the world’s largest printing trade fair has ended.
We enjoyed the intensive days full of fun and interesting conversations.

The entire fair was alive with a vibrant buzz of activity and a warm sense of cordiality. This atmosphere was particularly significant given that Drupa 2020 had been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving a noticeable gap in the industry’s calendar. The absence of such a major event underscored the pressing need for a new show to bring together professionals, foster connections, and showcase innovations. Attendees eagerly embraced the opportunity to gather again, filling the void left by Drupa with a renewed enthusiasm and anticipation.

Considering that we were showcasing the impressive new Q-Line BHS180, along with other cutter models and robots, we needed a much larger stand this year. We aimed to create a space where our visitors could get a hands-on feel for all our latest cutter innovations. The bigger stand allowed us to display our equipment more effectively, letting attendees see the Q-Line BHS180 in action and explore its features up close. This setup helped visitors understand our products better and appreciate the advancements we’ve made in cutting technology.

In the “robot demo zone,” we highlighted an industrial robot and our latest model, the Robot PortaBase 175. Like its sibling, the Robot PortaTable 130, this “plug and play” solution can be moved between cutters, but it features a longer arm reach and faster speeds.

Were you unable to attend this edition of Drupa? Don’t worry, we have an after-movie in which we would like to give you an impression!
